How to play Word Weaver
Touch controls: Tap the letter keys on screen; each key is at least 44 by 44 pixels so a thumb works comfortably, and the slot row stays visible above the keyboard on a phone.
Keyboard controls: Any letter A to Z guesses it, Enter starts or continues to the next word, P or Escape pauses, R restarts, M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Word Weaver
Word Weaver is a letter guessing game with a garden as its scoreboard. Each wrong letter grows a weed, and six weeds end the run; each correct letter fills every slot it appears in and brings the word a step closer. Words are common, four to seven letters long, and the category is always shown, so there is something to reason from rather than guess blindly.
Solving a word scores points plus ten for every try left unused, which rewards sure guesses over spread betting. The next word is harder by one letter on average, and the letters already used are greyed out so the same mistake cannot be repeated.
