How to play Scramble Sprout
Touch controls: Tap tiles to build the word and use the Submit and Clear buttons; tiles are at least 52 pixels square and the buttons at least 48 pixels tall.
Keyboard controls: Keys 1 to 8 tap the matching tray tile, Backspace takes a letter back, Enter submits, C clears the line, P or Escape pauses, R restarts and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Scramble Sprout
Scramble Sprout is an anagram game with a round clock. The tray holds the shuffled letters of a real garden word, and the answer line is built by tapping tiles. A solved word scores its base value plus ten for every second left on the clock, so the same word is worth much more found quickly.
Six rounds follow, each one letter longer than the last, and a wrong submission spends one of three leaves. The round clock refills with every new word, which keeps the pressure on the first few seconds rather than the last.
