How to play Hidden Grove
Touch controls: Tap the first letter and then the last letter of a word; tiles are about 46 pixels square at 390 pixels viewport width and the head-up buttons are at least 44 pixels tall.
Keyboard controls: Arrow keys move the letter cursor, Enter or Space sets the first letter and confirms the last, P or Escape pauses, R restarts and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Hidden Grove
Hidden Grove is a word search that fits a phone. Five garden words are hidden in a seven by seven grid, running across, down or diagonally and sometimes backwards, and the list under the grid keeps track of what is still to find.
Selections are made by tapping the first letter and then the last, so a word takes two taps and no dragging. Found words stay highlighted on the board, and a new grid is built from the word pool every time a run starts, so no two searches are the same.
