How to play Whirlspring
Touch controls: Tap or click anywhere in the arena for a spin burst. Drag around the arena to keep bursting, and the burst grows the further the drag travels.
Keyboard controls: Left and Right arrows or A and D nudge the rotor angle, Space or Enter adds a spin burst, P or Escape pauses, R restarts, M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Whirlspring
Balls roll in from six ports around the rim of a round arena and head for the hub. A two armed rotor spins the whole time, and each ball has to be met by an arm before it reaches the middle.
Meeting a ball early, near the rim, is worth far more than a late swipe close to the hub, so the run rewards timing rather than panic. Three lives and a wave that keeps growing keep it moving.
