How to play Orbit Sprout
Touch controls: Drag anywhere in the ring and the leaf turns to follow the angle from the centre of the arena to your finger, so the shield always points where you touch. Pause and sound stay in the header.
Keyboard controls: Left and Right arrows or A/D rotate the leaf, Space snaps the leaf to the nearest warning pip, P or Escape pauses, R restarts, M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Orbit Sprout
Orbit Sprout puts one young sprout at the centre of a ring of incoming shards. You never move a character: you rotate the leaf shield that guards the sprout, so the whole game is about holding the right angle while the shard stream drifts around the circle.
Pips glow at the rim to show where the next shards will launch from, and the leaf turns to meet them. Deflections charge the sprout's glow, while a shard that reaches the sprout costs one of three health leaves. The skill is tracking a wandering stream and choosing which side of the ring to cover next.
