How to play Bounce Vault
Touch controls: Hold the left or right half of the play field to nudge that way; the nudge is gentle, so a short hold is usually enough. Pause and sound stay in the header.
Keyboard controls: Hold the Left and Right arrow keys or A and D to nudge, P or Escape pauses, R restarts, M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in portrait orientation.
About Bounce Vault
Bounce Vault is a climbing game with no steering wheel. The character bounces on its own, the platforms scroll down, and the only control you have is a sideways nudge that realigns you over the next ledge. Miss the nudge and you fall; land it and you keep climbing, so every bounce is a small judgement about drift and distance.
Ledges come in three kinds: steady green ledges, brittle brown ledges that break after one bounce, and silver ledges that slide sideways while you stand on them. Spring pads throw you much higher and pay a bonus. The climb keeps a marker of your highest point, so a good run is always worth another attempt.
