About Grove Grid

Grove Grid is a claim-the-ground board game on one plain grid. You and the rival gardener start on opposite corners and grow outwards, one square per turn. A square may only be claimed if it shares an edge with ground you already hold, so every match becomes a question of which corridor to open and which to leave closed.

Four matches follow, from four by four up to six by six. The rival uses exactly the same rules and prefers squares that block your newest claim, so cutting into its garden scores better than nibbling the edges.
