About Kiwix
Kiwix reads reference material stored in ZIM archives on an Android phone. An archive can hold a collection such as Wikipedia or another supported website, so its pages remain available when you are away from a connection. Choose the language and contents before downloading a file.
The app includes archive management and search tools. Large collections can use substantial storage; a smaller archive may fit a limited phone more comfortably.
Kiwix is free and open source. An internet connection is needed to obtain archives unless you transfer a file from another source. Once a supported archive is on the device, the publisher documents offline reading.
