How to play Twin Clash

Touch controls: Each player owns half of the arena: a tap anywhere on your half shoves toward the other side, both halves are at least a third of the screen wide on a phone in landscape, and the two wide buttons under the arena offer the same action with a bigger target. The canvas uses touch-action none so a tap never scrolls the page.

Keyboard controls: A and D move the left player and S or Space shoves for them, the left and right arrow keys move the right player and the down arrow or Enter shoves for them, P or Escape pauses, R restarts the match and M toggles sound.

Screen: This game works best in landscape orientation.

About Twin Clash

Twin Clash is the one game in the batch that needs two people. The arena is split down the middle: a tap on the left half is the left player shoving toward the right, and a tap on the right half is the right player shoving toward the left. Both fighters stand on the same narrow platform with a long drop on either side.

A shove that connects pays points and pushes the rival back, and a shove that misses still costs the short cooldown, so timing is the whole duel. Fighters slide when they are pushed, either edge is a ring out, and the round goes to whoever is left standing. Two labelled buttons under the arena do the same job as the two halves, so the game is playable with a keyboard and readable by a screen reader.
