How to play Sift Sand
Touch controls: Press and drag across the tray to brush the sand away. A single tap also brushes, so a quick dab is never wasted.
Keyboard controls: The arrow keys or W A S D move the brush ring, Space or Enter brushes at the ring, P or Escape pauses, R restarts and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Sift Sand
Sift Sand starts with a drawn picture of a meadow flower under a summer sun completely buried under a layer of sand. A brush follows the finger, the mouse or the arrow keys, and wherever it passes the sand disappears and the picture shows through.
The percentage in the HUD is the progress counter: it is measured from the sand layer itself, so every stroke moves it. Sand is never added back, nothing is timed and nothing can be done wrong, so the tray can only become clearer until the picture is uncovered.
