How to play Kite Glide
Touch controls: Drag anywhere on the canyon to steer the kite horizontally; tap and hold near an edge to hold that edge. Pause, Restart and Sound are in the head-up row and at least 44 pixels tall.
Keyboard controls: Left and Right arrows or A and D steer, P or Escape pauses and resumes, R restarts the glide and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in landscape orientation.
About Kite Glide
Kite Glide is a descent: the kite always sinks, so there is no way to climb back out of trouble. The canyon scrolls upward, the walls lean in as the altitude drops, and wind rings hang across the gap. Steering is the entire challenge, and a line that is comfortable at 50 metres can pinch shut by 300.
Score is the metres glided plus twenty-five for every ring threaded, so a careful pilot scores well and a bold one scores better. Three knocks on the rock end the glide; reaching the canyon floor at six hundred metres ends it in your favour.
