About Element X
Element X is a native Matrix messaging app for Android and iPhone. Use a Matrix account to send direct messages, take part in group rooms, and make voice or video calls. Rooms can be public or private according to their settings.
Messages support replies, reactions, polls, and pinned items. Because Element X uses Matrix, you can communicate with people using compatible clients such as FluffyChat. You choose a public homeserver or one operated by your own organization.
The app is free and open source. An account on a Matrix server is required; server providers have their own policies and may offer paid services. Sending messages and joining calls requires a connection.
