About QR code reader
Read the contents of a QR code from a photo or screenshot. The result appears as text so you can inspect it before following a link or using the information.
This version reads an image you select. It does not open a live camera scanner.
How to use QR code reader
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image containing the code.
- Select Read QR code.
- Read the decoded text or website address.
- Use Copy result if you want to paste it elsewhere.
Tips and limitations
Use a sharp image with the full code and its surrounding border visible. A closer crop can help if the code is small within a large photo.
A successful scan does not establish that a link is trustworthy. Check the address before opening it or entering personal information.
