About Photo color picker
Pick a color from a photo and read its HEX and RGB values. This is useful for matching a background, choosing a design color or checking a small area of an image.
Tap the displayed photo to sample a pixel. Each tap updates the color shown beneath it.
How to use Photo color picker
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
- Select Open photo.
- Tap the part of the photo you want to sample.
- Read the HEX and RGB values below the image.
Tips and limitations
A photo may contain many similar shades because of lighting, compression and shadows. Sample a few nearby points to find a useful color.
This is a pixel sample, not a measurement of the original object's paint or material. Input images are limited to 12 million pixels.
