How to play Spot the Change
Touch controls: Tap a detail to check it, and tap the switch button to flip between the before and after views. No dragging or timing is involved.
Keyboard controls: Arrow keys (or W A S D) move the cursor over the details, Enter or Space checks the cursor detail, V switches between the before and after view, P pauses or resumes, R restarts the run and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Spot the Change
Spot the Change shows a garden scene made of nine details, each with a shape and a colour. One button switches the view between the garden before and the garden after, and three details are different in the second view.
The player switches views as often as they like and taps the details that changed. Nothing has to be memorised: the two views hold all the information, so the skill is careful looking rather than recall.
