How to play Sound Orchard
Touch controls: Tap the fruit tile that made the tune. Nothing has to be dragged, and taps are accepted while the melody is still playing.
Keyboard controls: Number keys 1 to 4 choose a fruit, arrow keys move a cursor between the four tiles, Enter or Space answers with the cursor fruit, P pauses or resumes, R restarts the run and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Sound Orchard
Four fruits in the orchard each sing a three note tune, and Sound Orchard asks which fruit made the sound that just played. The tune is the main clue, and while it plays a small sound card shows the shape of the melody note by note.
Because the pattern card and the code printed on each fruit tile carry the same information, a player with the sound switched off can still answer every round. The card clears when the tune ends, so the shape has to be held in mind for a moment before choosing.
