How to play Lamp Loop
Touch controls: Tap a lamp to press it; the board shows one lamp per cell and lamps on the first boards are at least 44 pixels wide. Undo, Hint and Reset board sit under the board and are at least 44 pixels tall.
Keyboard controls: Arrow keys or W A S D move the lamp cursor, Space or Enter presses the cursor lamp, U undoes, H hints, Backspace resets the board, P or Escape pauses, R restarts and M toggles sound.
Screen: This game works best in any orientation.
About Lamp Loop
Lamp Loop is a toggle puzzle. Every press flips the lamp you press together with the lamps directly above, below, left and right of it, so one press changes a cross of up to five lights and lamps you have already darkened can light up again. The aim is simple to state and takes planning to reach: every lamp on the board dark at the same time, in as few presses as possible.
Five boards follow one another, from four by four up to six by six, and each one shows its par, the fewest presses that clear it. A hint marks one lamp worth pressing and costs points, and a reset puts the starting layout back, so no board can become a dead end.
