About Grid Deduction

Grid Deduction is a small latin-square puzzle. Each grid holds one of every symbol in every row and every column, and a handful of cells are already fixed as clues, marked with a gold corner. Nothing else is written down: the marked clues are the whole rule set, and the rest is deduction.

Five grids follow one another, from four by four up to six by six, with fewer clues as they grow. A symbol that repeats in its row or column costs one of five slips and is ringed in clay red so the clash is obvious on the board itself.
