About Crystal Cut
Crystal Cut is a measuring puzzle played on a grid of crystal cells, where every cell counts as one unit of area. The order board names the size of the next piece required. Mark a connected group of cells that adds up to that area and slice it free: an exact piece is lifted off the crystal and pays out, and the crystal continues with what is left.
Marked cells must touch each other, so the game is as much about shape as it is about counting, and the order is always checked against the crystal that is left, so no order can outgrow the stone. Four crystals follow, each with three pieces and three spare slices, and a wrong slice costs one of those spares rather than the run.
