About Crate Canyon

Crate Canyon is a pushing puzzle. You walk the canyon floor one tile at a time and every crate you walk into slides one tile further, but only when the tile behind it is free. A crate against wall rock or against another crate will not budge, so the order of your pushes decides the board.

Five hand-built boards run from a single crate in a seven by seven canyon to four crates behind a high wall. Each board has a move budget shown in the header, crates that are wedged into a corner are ringed in clay red, and Undo is free, so a mistake can always be taken back before the floor runs out of moves.
