Toni! Toné! is a band from Oakland, California, known for their soul and R&B music in the late 1980s and early to mid-1990s. The band members included D'wayne Wiggins, Raphael Saadiq, and Timothy Christian Riley. They originally called themselves "Tony, Toni, Toné" as a joke but stuck with it because they liked how it sounded. Their albums "Who?" in 1988 and "The Revival" in 1990 were followed by their biggest success, "Sons of Soul," which went double platinum in 1993. After releasing their fourth album "House of Music" in 1996, the band split up, with many critics considering it their best work.
