In this series, we’ve been examining the politics, the economics and the geopolitics of two countries that are part of the Buddhist world. And while their politics is different, their economics and way of life is more similar than both of them would admit. And, at least in part, this is due to their common Buddhist heritage. But does that even matter anymore? How important is religion in Indochina these days? In a world that assumes a decline of religion, how are things in this department here?
