I have cancer. ❤️🩹

Hello everyone, I'm sitting here because I want to share some personal news, and ask for your understanding. It's not great news. Early last month, I got diagnosed with cervical cancer. This was, of course, an enormous shock. The past weeks have been intense, with on one hand lots of hospital appointments and treatments, and on the other hand performances in GelreDome, Ahoy & my own tour. I took so much energy and strength from being on stage during this emotional time. I felt, more than ever, that being on stage is the thing I love doing the most, but the reality is that I will be undergoing chemotherapy during the coming months. I don’t know yet how it will go, and I want to give myself the best opportunity for my body to react as positively as possible to the treatment. With that being said, unfortunately I will need to empty my agenda for at least the upcoming 3 months. I have good faith I will be healthy again and I hope I will be able to give you a positive update soon. Thank you in advance for your respect and understanding.
