About RunnerUp
RunnerUp records sports activities using the GPS in an Android phone. During a run, it can report pace, distance, and time through configurable audio cues. You can start an open-ended session, set a pace target, or prepare an interval workout with work and recovery periods.
The history view keeps recorded activities for later review. Compatible external heart-rate sensors can add heart-rate data and zone targets. RunnerUp also supports transfers to several external services; those connections use the services' own accounts and availability.
The publisher states that RunnerUp has no ads, in-app purchases, or required user registration. The app requests the phone permissions needed to record location. Heart-rate features require a supported sensor.
