About Pocket Casts
Pocket Casts is a podcast player for Android and iPhone. Follow shows, find new podcasts through its discovery tools, and build a listening queue. Manual playlists let you combine episodes from different shows, including podcasts you do not follow. Smart Playlists collect episodes using rules such as release date, length or download status.
You can stream an episode or download it for offline listening. Playback controls include variable speed, silence trimming, volume boost and a sleep timer. Signing in lets your followed shows, playback position and queue sync across devices. Notification preferences let you choose which episode alerts, recommendations and feature tips you receive.
The mobile app is free to download and lists optional in-app purchases. Paid plans add features, so check the publisher’s plan details for any extra you need.
