About Pixelc
Pixelc is an open-source pixel-art editor for Android, with a shared interface designed around touch devices. Its tools cover freehand drawing, lines, shapes, fills and selections. Layers and frames help separate parts of a sprite or build an animation, while tile mode supports repeatable artwork. The publisher tutorial also explains custom brushes, palettes, onion skinning and GIF export.
The Android app is free. The publisher describes Pixelc Premium as a way to support development, with the same features and different tool and background colours. Artwork is saved locally on the device.
