About Native Alpha

Native Alpha is an Android app that opens websites through Android System WebView. It can create home-screen shortcuts so you can return to a site directly. Each saved site has its own controls for JavaScript, cookies, ad blocking and access to the camera, microphone or location. Gesture navigation and global settings let you adjust how these windows behave.

The Google Play edition is free. The separate paid Plus edition adds sandbox containers, kiosk mode, biometric access protection and experimental force-dark options. These are optional additions to the same product. The publisher also offers source and direct releases, whose feature set can differ from the free Play edition. Keep Android System WebView updated, since Native Alpha uses it to display pages.

Free features and limits

Sandbox containers, kiosk mode, biometric access protection and experimental force-dark options are Plus features. The publisher says current GitHub and IzzyOnDroid releases include the Plus feature set; that does not change the free Play edition.
