About Metronome
Metronome plays repeated rhythms on an Android phone. Set a speed, choose a rhythm based on note lines, and start playback for a practice session. A tap control helps set the tempo, while the rhythm editor provides note values and subdivisions.
Save several scenes for different exercises and switch between them as you practice. Scenes can be imported and exported. The publisher also documents effects such as random muting and automatic tempo changes, which provide alternatives to a constant click.
The current publisher-linked Android product is free and open source. Use the app's output and volume settings to suit your practice environment.
